Hmm. I recall there was sometimes a problem with the Wallstreet, where some conductive foil inside the 'book could make contact with the DC plug, and somehow confuzzle the power manager into believing there was only enough power to run the system, and not charge the battery as well.

Gods, you've really not been having an easy time of it with the poor thing..

(So, looks like the Lombard joins the Wallstreet in being unsupported by Tiger. Still, some nosing around the XPostFacto forum suggests it probably won't be too huge a matter for the utility to be updated to permit Tiger to run on any feasible system. Seems Tiger'll offer some modest speed improvements, too, so I'll be interested to see how it fares on Bunny. Not sure how I'll be able to get it onto Dormouse, though, as the box will apparently only contain a DVD - anyone needing a CD version will have to send in $9.95 extra to Apple. Still, I dare say that'll turn up in the usual alleyways)
