Mmm, lasertag...

'twas fun. Although I don't think I understand the gems at all~ heheh. Namely the question of when I should soot the things, and why they don't always seem to work. >.> or something.

I want my own laser tag arena. =^^=

Another... 1/3 of the deck's done. Maybe a bit more than that. I think I'm going to leave the rest alone.. we rarely use that side when there's family parties/mom's recitals anyhow, unless we get massive amounts of peoples.

Shower, then.. SOC2006. Or anime. Whichever one looks more interesting after the shower. Mmm... more water...

GEMs.

Will shoot you if the motion sensor picks you up.

If you have credits, you can buy powerups from the gems. It's actually a good idea to do so whenever you can. Consider them a store. Well, a store with really hostile shopkeepers.

If they don't work, it's cuz you missed, most of the time. If you hit the GEM, it will flash your suit number, letting you know that you hit it.

Ooooh. That would explain why it flashed 22 the first game. Although I don't think I hit it that many times the second game...

Occasionally it counted down though... Or did it count up? I don't recall ^^;;; Was that anything in particular? (like it was getting ready to shoot? Or just... randomness?)

Countdown = GEM saw you and will "explode" when it hits 0, taking out everyone in range. Protect yourself by (1) Being somewhere else when it 'splodes (2) Shooting the GEM before it 'splodes, or (3) standing directly underneath the GEM when it 'splodes (this makes a useful cover - during the second game I spent some time hanging out under a GEM near the middle of the arena, which occasionally took out people I missed :-).

Oooh. Ok. :: grins:: watch it be another 4 years before I play laser tag again, and by then, they'll have GEMs on legs, wandering around shooting people and counting down in hexidecimal. Or binary. And it'll be a whole different system or something.
