Wheee, toys arrived today!



From left to right, knife sharpener, pocket knife, switchblade comb, kubaton with blade, butane pencil torch, and the hilt of my new wooden daito.


Daito, by itself.

Need to find butane for the pencil torch... XP

MacBook Pro on its way back from Apple. I wonder if DHL delivers Saturday. That would make me very happy.

are you living on campus (in university housing?) because I remember being really disappointed when I found out there were rules against sword-size weaponry on campus... :( (especially in the dorms)

Nope~ apartments. Although... don't think we had rules against sword-sized weaponry in the dorms. Or on campus. Hm. Might need to check that one out...

Only against live steel I think. If not, I was definitely breaking the rules keeping a wooden broadsword.

Sure... you *can* decapitate someone with a wooden sword, but it's much more fun to do so with a sharp metal blade
