Oh, also, recently posted pictures of my room, and one crappy one of myself, requested by Senpai, so since I put it up, I thought I'd share... (usual) darwin server/temp/dorm/

And now for the MP3s (Starting with the most recommended...):
1. Hero (Red Pill Mix) - Superchic[k] - Regeneration
'cause it's done well, and the message hits a.. sensitive spot. Mild note to self: find more.

2. Where is the Love - Black Eyed Peas Feat. Justin
This falls in the category of Rap, Christian subcategory?, I suppose. And I don't usually listen to rap. So it's good. Well, I thought so anyways.

3. Crash And Burn - Savage Garden - Affirmation
This is for several people out there~ yep.

4. Affirmation - Savage Garden - Affirmation
Just here, because it is. Not as special as the previous one, but... ::shrugs::

5. Before The Dawn - Evanescence - Fallen
Pretty. About it, I think... Forgetting. Reminds me of .hack/ stuff, which I have always favored. Soundtrack-wise, anyhow. The anime was... mefish.

6. Center Of The Sun - Poe - Conjure One
Again, pretty. Mmmm, don't think there was anything else to this other than prettiness.

7. The Lady of Shalott - Loreena McKennitt - The Lady of Shallott
And now for a complete change of pace. This and the next one are pretty songs, although long.

8.The Highwayman - Loreena McKennitt - The Lady of Shallott

On January 14th, 2005, Americans who are furious with the current President will each send one grab-bag-sized bag of pretzels to the White House (just to show we care) at the following address:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Note of detail: Will we be wanting to send on the 14th? Or timing our mailing so they arrive on the 14th?

And yes, Spread this message to every Bush-fearing person you know; post it on message boards, communities, etc. that you belong to. Spread the word~!

[ Credits | Spread the message... part from fbartho@livejournal; thepurplepotato@xanga was the one who posted it (the main thing) later (and thus, I saw first) ]

Idea to add: Someone ought to mix together a print-n-postable single sheet of paper to stick around campuses, for those of us college-enabled people. I'm seeing one big pretzel, and the main message from above. Although we'll want to print-n-post at some later date, close to the 14th. Well, mmm, might be hard, we get back the 18th, I believe...

Do you know why Jesus died on the cross?

He forgot his safe word.

NaNoWriMo Progress Meter

[edit]
Yes, am currently offline due to NaNoWriMoing. I want (read: probably won't) to reach 10K before heading back to my dorm (currently in the Illini Union, in a comfy chair). That probably won't happen. But I don't think I'll have time to do more NNWMing, as I've got a Japanese midterm monday, and from the looks of today's quiz, I'm NOT prepared. Plus, there's chem lab in the morning, so I'll be tired from that. Which means studying should be done saturday. My birthday. Oh, joy, what a way to spend my birthday, ne?

Feh. There were other activities planned, but they ain't happening, I think. At least not until I've gone through chapters 1 to 6 of the textbook. Which I really need to get back from K-chan. Shouldn't have let you borrow it. And please don't make a fuss when I ask for it back.. that'd be a pain, immensely.

NaNoWriMo Progress Meter

Technically, I need 1,613 words a day. It's the 5th of November right now. That means I should be up to 8,065 words. Hmmm, half way there, not too bad. Done 3.3K words in the past... 3?4 hours. Yep, I'm still at about 1K/hour. So, an hour and a half of writing per day. Or 10.5 hours of writing per weekend. Mmmm, you know, the former sounds much better. or 5.25 hours per weekend-day...

1K/hour... so I write at about 16 words per minute. Bleh, that's rather sucky. I should be able to go at about 30, maybe 40 wpm. Guess the thinking slows me down quite a bit, huh. I want a faster brain. Anyone want to donate one? Preferably one that doesn't freeze up on tests either. Female would be nice. (I'm kidding, please don't actually pull out your brains and send them to me. I wouldn't have the slightest clue what to do with them. Not like anyone would/should part with their brain for me. I know I'm not loved that much. =^.-= )

[edit]
You know, to current count, I'm mixing ideas and images from at least 3 books. I'm pretty sure if I counted, it'd reach 7 or so. Yes, I know this isn't really a problem, and I intend to keep writing anyways. I'm just amused by how much I'm influenced by those books.:
1. Wizardry series
2. Ender's game/shadow
3. Some book I skimmed at a bookstore... it takes a similar idea, but my planned resolution is different from their resolution. But I didn't think of this book when brainstorming.
