I've read a similar one that supposedly went to Harvard. However, I do hope that sometime in the past someone did try this somewhere because I'd like to think that someone was just that cool.

Apparently this is becoming a bit of an urband myth. Sharon had this same essay on her LJ, supposedly by a student who got into NYU. Ms. Shay, at least, claimed that was where it was from. I dunno.
