Oh, essentially, LiveJournal lets you make e-mail posts by signing the e-mails with PGP instead of using a less secure "pin". So all I did was sign my e-mail with PGP, and poof, it worked.
(Mind, "PGP-signed" may not be the right term, but I'm pretty sure it came from somewhere... the LiveJournal help page for this method of posting can be found here:
