I suspect half of you guys are already using Mint to monitor your finances / set budgets / etc. But for those who aren't, Mint is a shiny, online way to keep track of where your money is and where it goes. Best of all, it's free. I use it to replace the $5-10 per month identity monitoring services that credit card companies provide. Think of it as a much better Quicken that you can access online and will send you text alerts if strange things happen like $200+ dollar purchases are made.

Either way, you guys are getting this because they're offering people who bring in new people access to shinier beta options, and I want that. So try it out, damn you. ;)

(If you're not in the USA, YMMV. If it doesn't work for your financial institutions, I wouldn't mind learning about that, so I know not to recommend Mint to those not in the USA.)

(Yeah, yeah, I'm being lazy and copy-pasting this everywhere. I want access to shiny new beta features! T.T )

Signed up; it's kind of annoying because my credit card, checking account, and savings account are all through capital one and on the same account, but it only detects the credit card, even when I select savings account or checking account.
