Uzamakai torrent: http://darwin.servehttp.com/torrents/

And I've decided that I still don't like horror movies/mangas/stories. One of my "gifts" is an active imagination and the automatic tendency to ask "what if" and be creative about my answers. Mind you, this all goes on inside my head -.- I don't need another person in order to be weird :D

but because of this, horror stories tend to be magnified in my mind and I see and imagine more than just the simple story. Which is very very freaky and frightening sometimes. ::shudders:: and rarely is there anything more frightening than things in my own mind. Ok, well, there's some naked teachers that would be equally disturbing, but.. yeah, you get my point.

anyways.. scary. I'm going to go read something relaxing now, fantasy, probably. Such as Dealing with Dragons. Or another from it's series.

Am seeding Uzumaki, but upload limited to 2 K, since other servers are still running. As soon as turtleDDR downloads start working again, I'll take down the DDR torrents, and that'll free up a possible 7 K max. Which means Uzumaki can go up to 5 or 6 K max.... leaving the rest for the servers.

[ edit ] Tried seeding the file, but am getting the error:
trouble accessing files - [Errno 24] Too many open files: '/Users/benjamin/Desktop/Uzumaki/Uzumaki Vol02 Ch08 - The Snail/Uzumaki v02 041.jpg'

We may have to zip or rar this after all... ::sighs::

I have the same error. I guess we do have to zip it after all. *waaah* Oh well, it was worth a try. Do you know anyone with a really awesome college t3 connection?

::shudders:: The active imagination is sometimes not a gift, it can be so bad.

Just to let you know, I have all three Uzumaki mangas and the Japanese live-action (!) movie.
And I have not been affected at all by it, besides the second one (brr...jack-in-the-box!) and randomly pointing and shouting at spirals.
And I love the whole series, and plan on getting other Ito mangas.

I am a freak.

P.S. Junji Ito is sick and twisted. And rocks like hell!

By all three of the Uzumaki mangas, you mean, all three volumes, yes? Chapters 1-20, correct? And I too plan on getting more Ito mangas one day, perhaps when I can actually read the Japanese.

Yeah, the three volumes.

They've already translated Uzumaki 1-3 (Viz), Tomie 1-2 (although 2 is hard to find), Flesh Colored Horror (Comics One), and they're translating Gyo (Viz).
Just to let you know

~Eric

I'll be on the lookout for those, thanks, and will download them when I see 'em.

mmm... see if you can set winzip or whatever you use to zip to "None" as the compression level. I'll be using "None" so all the file should just copy directly into the zip archive... and if there is a difference in the file, it should only be a few minor things. Hopefully.
(Using DropZip 7.0, No compression)

a T3 connection? nope...
