Our driveway turned into one BIG sheet of ice. And because our driveway is at a 40º angle to the flat ground, I could slide down without any effort (other than balancing myself by waving my arms wildly). So fun~ But it's been de-iced now.

Back to watching Princess Tutu. Episode 19..

*giggle* That sounds like fun! Preferably if suitably well padded-up beforehand, perhaps. And there's no video footage thereof? ^_^

I never seem to see much snow.. my climates have always been slightly too warm for more than perhaps a day a year of snow. Except for Minneapolis, which has been known to enjoy quite cool winters. Not a bad city, either, and home to multiple branches of Edwardo's, for one's Chicago-style stuffed pizza fix. :-9 And Dreamhaven Comics, in Dinkytown (yes, really), home-base for the inimitable Phil Foglio, of Angel and the Ape, Buck Godot, and Xxxenophile.

oddness, your comment reply never reached my emailbox. wouldn't have caught it had I not checked my reply to Lady's comment.

mmm, nope, no vid footage. I don't have a digital camcorder. And it is fun =^.^=

Odd.. ! Well, I've noticed LJ having a problem a couple times recently, with postings appearing twice, and sending two notifications, so maybe the db's sulking now, following its chastisement. ^_^

Mm, digital camcorder.. definitely something I want to pick up, when I eventually can. Particularly one which can act as a DV bridge, so I can start editing some of my travel and red panda footage. I can import it using a CapSure, but that only goes up to 320x240, and I've found I get best results keeping the disk bandwidth down a little, using 16-bit color mode, for 4.5MB/s. But that resolution's really not making the best use of Hi-8; it'd be quite a bit of work distilling 2001 (Brisbane, Byron Bay, Grafton, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore) into a more compact form, and thus a bit of a waste to do that for a "preview" version alone. On the other paw, it'd be good practice.. (though I might want to free up a bit of space on both systems - Bunny's 8GB partition still only means a bit under half an hour at a time, though, and Ocelot keeps managing with a few gigs available, out of a 60GB drive.. so, if data always occupies all the space available, does that mean it's gaseous?)

You know whats particularly painful? When it is so cold that all your digits freeze off while typing, but there is still no snow to have snowball fights or roll around in... And all the natives say it never snows. *sob*

I don't know what the angle of our driveway is, but it's too steep for me to want to slide down it, because I am a massive klutz and do not want to break anything.

Such as my arms or legs, or the fences.

I should measure it . . . I know it's steep . . . hhhmmm.

I need to gain more weight to get enough padding to do that.

And it's not smooth ice, anyway, it's all nasty . . .

Zoe likes running around in the snow for about three minutes.  Then she gets bored/cold/whiney.

Yes, you probably could use more padding in places... although it doesn't matter too much, since you're not that heavy~

So dump water onto the driveway.

heh. that reminds me... when my mom came home... she couldn't drive the car up onto the driveway.. so she had to climb up from the bottom... and apparently she fell on her butt and couldn't get up... she had to crawl all the way up the driveway... kept on slipping and falling back down...
and then when she got inside she got mad at me for being lazy and not killing the ice. lol. x___x
