In other random news, I got an iSight. Time and boredom permitting (or upon request), pictures will be taken and posted. It is sexy. Very sexy. And not in that way, although it is only slightly falyky. I need people who can videochat with me!!! (well, umm.. that is.. once I decide to not be awkward about seeing people. Please refer to previous posting about talking.)

Yes, the Abuse team occasionally hears of users who plan to commit suicide, but there are other situations where having this information could possibly be of use to the police. There have been, for instance, phone posts that were interrupted by physical violence before, and other such situations. The Abuse team often gets reports of these things, and oftentimes, there is nothing we can do to help, because we can't find you.

Please take a moment of your time and make this post. Your privacy will never be violated except in absolute need, and though we hope it will never be necessary, it could prove to be very necessary indeed.

Mmmmm, included some other assorted things that might be helpful, including LJ people who would know where I am/how to get to me/how to contact family, should that information become out of date. Granted, that extra step to look up those people, just to find me would be a bit more than what support/abuse people might be willing to do. ::shrugs:: Oh well. Just in case, anyways.
