Dear Benjamin Juang:

Thank you for applying to the National Science Council’s summer program, “Taiwan Tech Trek 2005” (Overseas Taiwanese Summer Program). We have received tremendous responses from overseas communities this year.

The NSC has made every effort to accommodate candidates’ requests, but due to the overwhelming number of applications received, we regret that we were unable to find a suitable internship for you at this time.

We will keep your name on file for future reference, and we welcome you to explore other opportunities for overseas Taiwanese (please check the NSC website periodically for future announcements). The NSC plans to launch other similar programs to recruit candidates like yourself, and would be pleased to sponsor you for upcoming activities.

Thank you for your interest in our program. If you have any questions, please contact the NSC at wc1chen@nsc.gov.tw.

Sincerely,

Taiwan Tech Trek Program Office
National Science Council

Hey, am I allowed to cheer for the author? =^^=

Oh, and there's this too. Lessons in online dating.

I came across the site (www.thegirliematter.com) via www.A9.com, the amazon-supported search engine... which, if I use enough of, will give me a π/2% discount. Half of the pi. yayfor. ^^;;

http://papernapkin.net/ - for rejecting those creeps that ask you for you e-mail address.
(there's phone number rejecting services under links too... so check it out.)
