(yeah, only posting because I haven't gotten around to searching up this person. Shhh, yes, I know all I need to do is click the image on Google, but yeah.. shhhhh.)

Dum dee dum~ Random Job interview tomorrow, from some company called Vector. Got shirt, pants, need to find a good tie to go with aforementioned shirt.

Also fixing Ouqi's computer (hard drive, anyways). o.O I'm pretty sure I did something about it last time, but meh. Dunno.

Anyone know what format windows XP uses for it's drives? And what I might need to get to be able to mount and read data from it? (The later is more important.. I'm looking for the former right now.)

it's not that it's joyce's birthday, it's that it's the 100th anniversary of bloomsday, the day on which joyce's well-known (though not often well-understood) novel ulysses was set.

Yeah, I know.. thanks for the warning though. It had occured to me earlier to check the company so I'd know some sort of background on them before going... This page was the most interesting, so far...

(actually, it was their fault.. in their FAQ, they said:
8. Are the negative stories I’ve heard about Vector true?

Over the past twenty plus years Vector is proud to have worked with thousands of individuals who have successfully sold Cutco products. Cutco products have been on the market since 1949, and to date we have over 12 million satisfied customers. Still, like every large company, Vector has faced challenges and criticisms over the years.

While we embrace the opportunities the internet affords, we understand that people can post negative stories and criticisms about Vector or find disputes that have long been resolved. Ultimately, we’re proud of the value of our programs, the quality of our products, and the integrity and caliber of our people. As an organization, we’re committed to excellence in every area of our business, and hold steadfast to the importance of integrity in all our dealings. We welcome you to contact us directly if you have any additional questions, concerns, or comments.

which made me go, "what the fuh...!"... and started searching further...)

Ranwa worked for Vector . . . it's legit, but, Ben, dear, it's SALES.  You won't do it.

I know it's sales! ::whines miserably::

Still, I think I'll go to the interview anyways, and if accepted, go to the training sessions.. maybe I'll pick up something useful there. And then present to parents, get paid for that, and quit after I get my first paycheck? ::frowns:: sounds rather evil of me~ But still, I can't imagine selling things to others, much less knives.

I'll be calling another company tomorrow:
Steptoe & Johnson, Attorneys at Law are looking to hire about 20 bright (B
average or better), careful, motivated high school students (preferably
rising seniors or graduated seniors) to read and analyze books, articles,
and other documents this summer. They will pay $10 per hour, Monday
through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an hour lunch break. The
students will work out of the 400 E. Gude Drive, Suite A, Rockville, MD
20850 location. The job lasts all summer.

Students will need to interview at their Rockville office. Call Jenny
Hilscher, secretary, to set up a time for the interview at 202-429-3038.

Came in the RMPTSA e-mail list. Reading sounds good, although I dunno about analyzing....

Don't do it if you're not going to do it.  You get paid by commission, not by time.  Your parents aren't going to buy much, if anything, so you won't get any money if you don't work hard.

Go right ahead... They never called me back X.x or if they did, my mom probably answered it, thought it was a telemarketing call and said, "No, we're not interested" and hung up.
