Full Metal Alchemist manga has ended. I may or may not have posted about this already. Definitely worth reading.

Angel Beats (13 episodes) was... pretty much a B-/C+ series until the last episodes, when everything got wrapped up beautifully. Probably worth watching.

Other than that, I don't think anything has ended lately. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is coming to an end - 2 episodes left. Katanagatari is interesting and I'm following that. Working!! (slice of life, comedy), Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou (comedy, school life+magic), Fairy Tail, One Piece...

Saw Randall Munroe of XKCD.com today. Got a "Service Pack 1" for my XKCD: Volume 0. (#87/256) It involved waiting in line in the zomg-so-cold-weather for about 3 hours, but I think it was quite worth it.

Also found some nifty beaches by Davenport while looking for a secret beach accessible only by rope. I'm not sure I found the right beach, but I probably won't head back there again - it's 50 miles from SF, and about 40 miles from my condo (pretty much right next to Santa Cruz).

...I miss FMA already. =( Did Brotherhood really get through the entire series properly or did it veer off from the manga plot like the original series?

Nah, Brotherhood followed the manga pretty faithfully.
