NaNoWriMo

Mmm. I should start sketching out a plot, so unlike last year, I'll actually have something planned. And my story doesn't run into a dead end. Well, I could create a way out of the dead end, but that's just painful at times.

Also need to make an icon, following the NaNoWriMo Participant icon styles. Probably slap those letters onto my current icon for a while. (a month).

For the curious:
NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. It's a self-challenge to write a 50K word novel in a month, starting Nov. 1 and ending Nov. 30. I tried last year, and didn't get that far. Notably, homework and other assorted nasties dragged me down. This year... Mmmm, there's probably as much homework, and if exams occur in Nov......, but I'm going to try again anyways.

go for it dude. it's the most satisfying thing in the world when you get it done. ^_^

i think i might do it again, even though i have most of my time taken up by marching band. sigh.

and one thing you can do, if you're open to suggestions: set a specific time every day/week when you can write. then you'll definitely get it done. good luck. happy writing!

You're doing NaNoWriMo? That's awesome! So am I...assuming I can get something prepared. Every time I turn around I come up with a new major problem with mine. Have you started thinking about what it's going to be yet?
