Lexar returned my drive.

And now Lexar be very nice, very userfriendly company. Buy from Lexar.

I had that JumpDrive for... a year+ now... and they took it and replaced it, no questions asked. Didn't even ask for prepaid return shipping... So all I ended up paying was a dollar or so, and waited for about a week. Good stuff. Only if all companies were like that. They even e-mailed me the tracking number when they shipped it out.

Cool beans! That's worth remembering. I had a similarly happy surprise from Madsonline, when Bunny's adaptor from them went duff (right by the DC plug, so no way to repair it). I'd been looking around for hints on how to make up a replacement plug (it's a 3.5mm stereo plug with a shield with RCA plug spacing, and a resistor somewhere to act as a sense element), and wound up asking them - they gave me some details, and wondered why I didn't just send it back. ^_^ So there I was, way out of warranty, with a shiny new PSU. Very good people.
