[append] Was chatting/arguing/whatnot with my sister yesterday, and strapless bras was mentioned, although I don't exactly remember why. And someone mentioned it again, on my LJ::friends page~ So, being curious, and wanting to know exactly how strapless a strapless bra was, I hit google...
So there's strapless bras that don't have shoulder straps... but what about this?

There's no shoulder straps. No back straps... how the hell does it stay on? Superglue?

Heh, ok. (Wouldn't that be rather uncomfortable though..? Although I guess, for the purpose of the picture, it wouldn't matter, since she wouldn't be wearing it with tape for a long time...)

[You can help me get dressed next time I go play, if you must know.]  The strapless/backless bras are very tricky and annoying, but there's nothing else that works with backless tops . . . that bra in the picture you linked is useless and expensive, because there's no underwire, which (for me) is the whole point of wearing the bra, otherwise you can just go without one.  How, I don't know.

Nah. This kitty isn't dead yet. And besides, I still haven't been able to figure out exactly why they call them underwired bras... I mean, googling for images really doesn't show me anything. -.-;;; 'cept for bras. I mean, I guess.. that it means there's a wire supporting the bra somewhere... probably under the breasts, but... that sounds awfully uncomfortable, wrapping wire around yourself.

It is, which is why I never wear underwire bras (although I really have no need for that kind of support in the first place).
