Just watched Mamma Mia: The Movie

Movies and dinner of spaghetti and meatballs... Not too bad. Movie was ok... the amount of giggling and squealing at the beginning from the girls made me cringe. Like... high school maturity level.

Still, everything else was pretty good. Not something I'll spent the time to watch a second time, but... not a waste of time either, I guess.

I've wanted to see this mostly for Julie Walters and Meryl Streep. I'm a bit wary of the whole "jukebox" musical thing. It sounds like a interesting idea in theory, but I'm just not sure how much I would actually enjoy it.

I loved the movie.

Not just because Amanda Seyfried is good and hot, Meryl Streep throws everything she has into this performance, and the group numbers make me giggle.

Christine Baranski got the scene she was born to play with "Does Your Mother Know," and she put so many younger actresses to shame.
