Random Music For People to Sample
Aug. 3rd, 2004 11:32 pmFrom most recommended, to ok... (not in exact order, really, since I'm pretty receptive to most stuff...)
[ EDIT | NOTE: I've left the spaces and ampersands (& signs) in the mp3s for now... I don't have trouble with it, and I think most browsers will handle it correctly? ]
ERA - The Mass - Voxifera, Track 9. (rest of the CD is available upon sampling request - 10 tracks )
U2 - With or Without You
Kurt Nilsen - She`s So High
Dashboard Confessionals - Vindicated
Enigma - Dream of the Dolphin
Fool's Garden - Lemon Tree (I actually heard the techno version first, and liked that one a lot more, but could never find a copy of it...)
Enya & Enigma - Celtic trance
Enigma - Celtic Dream(reminds me a lot of the Chrono series (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Radical Dreamers))
Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending
Ace Of Base - Experience Pearls
Lee Greenwood - God Bless the USA
Enigma & Sarah McLaughlin - Silence
-------------------------------------------
Speaking of Chrono Cross, I _still_ have yet to finish it. Bah humbug. Lunar: SSSC (Silver Star Story Complete) is so much better than Lunar 2: EB (Eternal Blue, I believe?). I don't like the menus, unique each person has their own inventory, and reduced number of messages from each person (most people only have 1 thing to say to you now, unlike Lunar, where almost _everyone_ had 2, or more things to say.). Plus, there was a _lot_ more humor in the first one, it felt. Lunar 2 is 3 CDs long, and not just 2, like Lunar 1 is. And I'm rapidly running out of time. I leave for UIUC on the 21st, and once gone, I won't have access to the PC that runs the PSX emulator. And firestorm isn't far enough to handle Lunar 2. Dunno about Chrono Cross, I doubt it'll be able to handle it. I should check though, and maybe change priorities.
Chrono Cross and FFIX still beat Lunar 1 and 2's graphics and movies by oh so damn much.
