Actually, when you think about it, quite a lot of primates are fairly heavily armed, especially larger ones like the gorillas.

I admit, I'm not really much of a primate fan - bonobos seem fairly sensible sorts, though, and smaller ones like capuchins are fairly cute, but even they're hardly competition for ringtailed lemurs.
