Saw it in the front row, courtesy of a 50% off coupon for the Orchestra section, knocking the price of the seat down to the same as the balcony. =^^=v

It was... decent. I heard the soundtrack (and obsessively listened to it, as I'm apt to do) a year ago. There aren't _that_ many good songs, and.. yeah, the performance was similarly mediocre. The dragon was impressive though. Wouldn't go see again though, unlike Wicked and Spamalot.

Now, Avenue Q is coming to town. That... I may watch again, if I can find decently cheap tickets.

I saw a song they did on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade back when the show first premiered. I wasn't too impressed. I heard they changed quite a bit of it from the Broadway run to the tour run 'cause it wasn't that good. Lol.

Avenue Q! =D

Yeah, the dragon song was completely different. I was confused. (Until I stuck around after the show ended for a brief "Come chat with a two of the actors" section and heard that yeah, they changed some stuff between Broadway and the tour runs, mostly because of the sizes of the stages would be different, and because some things just didn't work out as well as they liked.)

I'm planning to get some people together for Avenue Q tickets on February 27 - did you see my post on Facebook? We'd be going for the cheapest seats we can find, though, regardless of distance from the stage.
