hehe, I have only had popups lately from a small number of torrent websites and almost invariably I can close them before they even finish loading their pages... :P

Hmm. Tried OmniWeb? I don't see any pop-ups from that site here. It's not free ($30) but the 30 day trial's nicely designed that it only counts days when you actually have the app running, rather than a straight month from the first time it's used - and it really is rather a good browser.

Omniweb... Hm, I do believe we have a schoolwide license for that. =^.^= Never did like the interface much though. Although that might just be lack of usage.

Hmm, all of them being mac supported? I don't know how firefox extensions are compiled....

That, and firefox just tends not to feel right... it's... very lacking in options, somehow. Compared to iCab...
