Oh, that's not happy. I'm behind on work, which means I won't be able to get started on my NaNoWriMo until after wednesday. The brighter side is that I'll have my iBook back soon (I hope) and I'll be able to write on that. Maybe I should name it... and give it a gender.

Date: 2005-10-31 07:36 am (UTC)In all, I've had (some in the past tense, some current, some indeterminate :) -
Raccoon (PB5300c)
Squirrel (an 8100/80AV, I think; a cast-off from the office, tossed because it was supposedly unreliable, but it worked perfectly for me. And it'd been upgraded with a good amount of memory, and a 300MHz G3)
Bunny (266MHz Wallstreet)
Ocelot (400MHz TiBook)
red_panda and orca (NeXTstation turbos)
.. and now Hyzenthlay, 1.67GHz 17" AlBook.
So Hyzenthlay's a bit of a shift in the naming, but it feels right, though
What sort of theme are you considering for NaNoWriMo? Are there any constraints thereon?

Date: 2005-10-31 04:28 pm (UTC)NaNoWriMo? Probably fantasy again. Definitely something silly. Or romantic. But no, no constraints, aside from starting all and any writing Nov. 1, midnight of the author's local time, and stopping Dec. 1, midnight. With the goal of 50K words.
