No harry potter torrent yet. Slightly odd... Kinda wonder if someone made an announcement to all the usual releasing groups and asked them nicely to not release harry potter?

Nah, no way...

But still, no signs of even a camrip... which there usually is by now. The only thing I'm coming across is the Harry Potter &/ Goblet of Fire PS2 game? =o.O=

Indeed - there's been a single torrent publicised, apparently with no seeds, and that's it. Rather odd.

Ah well, I'll see it one way or another, though I can see this stretching into DVDland.. I still haven't seen The Corpse Bride, after all. (But I did make a point of catching Wallace & Gromit and Mirrormask! Though I completely missed the recent double bill of Barbarella and Diabolik :)

It's very odd. Almost as if the tracker owners were warned that any harry potter & GOF torrents would result in very severe consequences... although that has never stopped thepiratebay.org (they've got replies to cease and decease letters posted, along with snarly replies).

My roommate says it's because of the massive(?) crackdown that happened after Star Wars III, but I don't remember seeing any articles... and I haven't really been following recent movie releases, so I don't know how many movies made it onto bittorrent, and if the number has gone down recently.

On another note, there also hasn't been any more Dammeko Doubutsu as of late..?

Massive crackdown after Star Wars III? Hahahaha that's funny. The Russian mob and some Spanish crooks were hocking it on the streets of those countries this summer. Someone who didn't speak spanish gave me a copy of the spanish bootleg for free when they discovered the lack of English....
