Canadian developers will next month release a tool to bypass government-enforced restrictions on web browsing in countries like China, Syria and Iran.
The University of Toronto has developed the Citizens Lab software in the hope that government internet censorship can be effectively circumnavigated.

Good to know. Especially considering I'm gonna be accessing internet from internet cafe's in Damascus (no, NOT Maryland, doofs!) in a few months.

Hm, if you run into trouble reaching things even with the un-released piece of software, tell me and I'll set up the stuff I set up for Gordon when he was in China, so you can get around stupid government blocking.
