LiveJournal is having a permanent account sale again. Whee.

I still need to fully complete (and maybe kick into beta) my Google summer of code project for LJ. Meep. ::hides:: Ouqi's stuff is keeping me busy between school and other stuff though.

Append: Oh, this is spiffy. I can now 'sponsor' guests http://www.cites.uiuc.edu/news/2006/guestaccounts/index.html, so they can use the university wireless while on campus.

Ooh! Hopefully not until I've got the money. Or a benefactor. =:)

I'll stay with XColibur, as I want the whole width of the window available journalistic purposes. I don't really have any links or suchlike residing permanently, other than in my profile, so anything that breaks the width into two or three columns just wastes all that space - a pity LJ's so keen on that style, as there are some nice designs otherwise. Maybe I'll get around to working out something that lifts some of the cute design elements (bunneh!), whilst retaining my current scheme's simplicity, maybe adding some actual text or icons to the button/boxes along the top. (But then, I never use those, so I don't mind if they serve no purpose than looking colorful =:)

Nice idea! Would be cool to see other campuses offer such.
