...it's weird tho, paid accounts are not supposed to be deleted after their paid time runs out... they're supposed to just revert to free user accounts... I paid my way in too, and I'm now a free user........

Honto ni? I don't know what was going on. One minute I had my journal and the next minute it was gone. I was totally in panic. Didn't even know what to do. I actually had to search around, contact the support staff and ask what happened. The person I talked to said I couldn't revert to a free user since I didn't start as one. I had no idea that was going to happen. So I had to go the long and hard way and set up a new journal only to get an email minutes after starting another one telling me I could use a code generated from my iheartjapan journal to start a free user account and add that to my current account and hence still keep iheartjapan as a free user account, did you get that? Neither did I. Sounds like a whole load of kittypoop to me! Anyhoo, hopefully this is the first and last time something like this happens.

EEEHHH? Who did you talk to? ::mutters to himself:: I thought those support responses were moderated...
Because that's definitely not true, if you read the FAQ here: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=114. A new account, created by paying will revert to a free account after the paid time expires.

mrf, sounds like the second person didn't understand your question either... ::sighs:: you should have just asked me for a creation code, then you wouldn't have to pay... of course, you wouldn't have the benefits of a paid account either... ::shrugs::

if you can still log into iheartjapan, you should change the password, then go to http://www.livejournal.com/modify.bml and change "Journal Activation Status" (at the bottom) to activated.

i know, i always thought all paid accounts were just reverted to free users O.o;; *scratches her head*
