I never thought I'd say this, but damn I'm pulling for Apple. *mutters foul things about the CDs coming out now that you can't put on iTunes as she no longer has a working portable CD player and will in fact not have any CD player beyond her computer in college*
Good grief. Hopefully As the Apple Turns will run some number crunching, and compare that against the other "branches" of the iTMS - but that sounds pretty amazing. Probably a fair bit cheaper than buying CD releases there, as well as the per-track nature of it.
Sony Japan aren't going to be happy. ^_^ (Still, I wonder if Apple might license FairPlay to them? Stranger things have happened)
